Use cases

AIMdesk covers the silent office PC, the control room and the digital signage player with one device.

Modern digital workplaces

Office computers are audible, draw in dust and get in the way. At the front desk and in the open-plan office, every fan noise is a distraction.

AIMdesk runs silently and disappears behind the monitor with the VESA kit. One device replaces towers and special-purpose thin-client solutions.

Up to three displays simultaneously (2 x HDMI, 1 x DisplayPort) · 6 x USB 3.0 · VESA mounting behind the monitor

Control rooms and control environments

In industry, at utilities and in equipment rooms, the computer runs around the clock. There, the fan becomes the point of failure: it draws in dust, gets loud and is the first part to fail.

AIMdesk is designed for continuous operation: fanless, without moving wear parts, with interfaces for legacy devices.

2 x COM ports · Operating temperature -20 to +70 °C · DC 12V supply

Edge computing

Distributed sites have neither air conditioning nor IT staff on site. The hardware has to keep running without maintenance.

AIMdesk is fanless, uses little power (6 W TDP) and offers flexible storage. That makes it a reliable endpoint for on-site data processing.

M.2 2280 + M.2 2230 + 2.5-inch SATA · Linux support (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, Fedora EPEL, Debian)

Digital signage and continuous display operation

Displays in continuous operation need players that do not fail and keep the display signal stable, even when nobody is standing next to them.

AIMdesk has dual HDMI 1.4a with EDID emulator and CEC support for continuous display operation. It is fanless and flat enough to mount directly on the display.

EDID emulator · CEC support · Wallmount and VESA kits · silent operation
